Get to know the team that drives QSC today and tomorrow:

In 1998, Friedrich Piewald and his wife Eva founded the QSC Group, and he has served as its managing partner ever since. He is primarily responsible for strategy and corporate development, while also pursuing the continuous expansion of the QSC product range and technical innovations as a personal passion.

For most of his career, Friedrich Piewald held leading positions in the development and implementation of complex, international software projects (particularly in the ERP sector) for manufacturing companies. Concurrently, he completed training as a management consultant and subsequently played a key role in several corporate restructurings in the industrial sector.

Lukas Piewald, as Chief Sales Officer, is responsible for the further development of sales and the exploration of new market potential. He leads the sales team and also shapes the strategic direction of marketing activities.

His career began in consulting, where, after completing his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, he quickly assumed leadership responsibilities and successfully managed client projects as a team leader. During this time, he developed a deep understanding of customer requirements, market mechanisms, and the successful implementation of complex projects.

As Head of Development, Daniel Erdei is responsible for the team and the scope of work for standard product development (with a focus on frameworks and technology-driven core processes) as well as the development of complex, internal IT architecture.

For decades, Daniel Erdei has actively participated in the evolution of the software industry, developing an unquestionable understanding of the market and technology, as well as an excellent sense for and understanding of innovations and successful technology trends.

In his central role in human resources management, he organizes the essential processes and tasks related to modern leadership principles and agile product development, including innovative creative processes (product discovery, design thinking, etc.).

Michael Straka is responsible for the team and the Customer Service Technology department. This includes, among other things, the successful handling of direct customer support.

He has been with QSC since its inception and possesses extensive experience in customer projects across all industries.

His comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm for project management make Michael Straka an outstanding department head – all QSC projects therefore pass through his hands.
