Friedrich Piewald founded the ‘QSC’ corporate group together with his wife Eva in 1997, and has served as managing partner since that time. In this connection, he is responsible in particular for strategy and corporate development, while at the same time pursuing the ongoing evolution of the QSC product portfolio as well as technical innovations as his ‘personal hobbyhorse.

Friedrich Piewald has spent the majority of his career in leading positions in the development and implementation of complex and international software projects (especially in the ERP area) in manufacturing companies. At the same time, he trained as a management consultant and subsequently played a key role in several company reorganisations in industry.

As Managing Director, Matthias Kermer is responsible for the entire sales area. His many years of expertise and in-depth know-how in the field of QA and ERP systems form the basis for excellent project consulting right from the sales phase. 

Matthias Kermer has managed customer projects for decades and can therefore draw on a pool of knowledge with a deep understanding of processes and a wide range of experience. As a result, he is also an experienced project professional.

As Head of Development, Daniel Erdei is responsible for the team and the area of responsibility for standard product development (with a focus on framework and technology-heavy basic processes) as well as the development of UN-internal, complex IT architecture.

For decades, Daniel Erdei has actively participated in the further development of the software industry, developing an unrivalled understanding of the market and technology as well as an excellent feel and understanding of innovations and successful technology trends.

With his central role in personnel management, he organises the essential processes and tasks for modern management principles and agile product development including innovative creative processes (product discovery, design thinking, ...).

Michael Straka is responsible for the team and the area of customer service technology. Among other things, he successfully handles direct customer support.

He has been with QSC from the very beginning and has many years of extensive experience in customer projects across all industries.

His extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for project management make Michael Straka an outstanding divisional manager - all QSC projects therefore pass through his hands.
