Challenges in practice

In addition to ensuring the quality requirements of your deliveries, your customers often require a wealth of QA documents for each delivery / batch / machine number / serial number / vehicle ID, etc. These documents should be available at the time of dispatch logistics. Based on quality checks along the value chain, these should be available at the time of dispatch logistics. In addition to various acceptance specifications such as the 3.1 certificate, proof of qualification and certificates from your raw material suppliers may also be required.

Solution QS1

QS1 allows you to plan and control your outgoing goods inspection processes in close connection with the flow of goods in your ERP system.

By means of various options for dynamising inspection severity, your inspection efforts and costs are aligned with the required quality image of your customers.

Sales orders/delivery notes in the dispatch process automatically lead to the generation of inspection orders in outgoing goods. Various procedures are available for distributing the inspections within the company. Employees are guided intuitively through the inspection process. Additional, customer-specific information (texts, images, documents, CAD data) is displayed to the employee for each characteristic in the inspection steps.

To reduce inspection effort, QS1 offers the option of referencing inspection results and associated documentation from upstream inspections, such as your production inspections. In combination with batch and serial number tracking, this allows you to maintain an overview of the entire value creation process, right through to outgoing goods inspections by the supplier.
