‘The processes from goods receipt to the accompanying production inspections through to the final production inspection can be mapped very easily in QS1. The redundancy-free utilisation of all master data from the ERP system in QS1 is very helpful. Factory certificates, which used to be laboriously created in Microsoft Excel, now come directly from the quality management system. This means that they are generated fully automatically and sent to the e-mail addresses stored. The statistics were also previously kept manually in Microsoft Excel. Today, this task is performed by QS1. Another advantage of QS1 is that the databases can also be used for other applications. For example, we use the data from QS1 to feed our website, create CAD documents for our customers and print catalogues. All of this makes our day-to-day work easier, as only one database needs to be maintained and all information is always up-to-date.’
