Challenges in practice

The required test steps across the entire value chain must be planned as early as the development process, ideally as a result of associated FMEAs. Depending on the industry, the test steps and measures documented in accordance with standards are agreed/approved with your customers via the control plan. In serial production, any deviations identified in terms of ‘lessons learned’ must of course be incorporated into test planning via the production control plan.
